Advantages: Tastes great and is economical
Disadvantages: None I can think of
I am totally addicted to energy drinks and isotonic drinks. I drink alot of energy drinks out of pure addiction and I'm not sure they really work but isotonic drinks I like for when I'm at the gym to replenish lost fluids....and I do sweat so therefore think they're helpful to me!
The Packaging:
500ml clear plastic bottle with ridges all over it so it's easy to grip. The top of the bottle has a pull up and down function to reveal a small hole to drink out of it making it very easy to handle when in the gym, jogging or whatever. Around the middle of the bottle there is a black label and on there, there is a picture in green of what appears to be a man playing football and then in white and green writing I'm told it is Tesco Active Isotonic Sports Drink 'Tropical' and that it contains no artificial colours or flavours and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. Other information on the back of the label includes ingredients and allergy advice, nutritional information is fully given, storage details are listed and contact details for Tesco are given.
The Drink:
Light orange in colour and it's like a flat squash in appearance. It has a light and slightly sweet tropical smell to it and is of course a watery drink but it's very highly flavoured.
Taste wise I really do like this. To me it has a taste of orange, mangos and pineapple to it that isn't zesty. The drink is incredibly sweet with a slight tang of salt to it and you have to remember this drink is to replenish lost fluids and quench thirst opposed to being a tasty drink and the thing about this is when I'm all hot and bothered this tastes really good but any other time it doesn't! I highly recommend this for sporty/active people and at 37p a bottle this offers really good value for money and it really does work for me at not only quenching my thirst but lifting my energy levels slightly due to it being full of glucose.
Allergy Advice:
Recipe: No nuts
Factory: No nuts
Caution: Contains a source of Phenylalanine.
Nutritional Information Per Bottle:

Summary: A great drink I shall forever be buying now!
