Advantages: Great taste and price!

Disadvantages: Bad colour schemes which make the product look cheap.

Tesco really are taking over the world with their rapdily expanding food stores which seem to lurk round every high street corner these days. One thing which Tesco have kept relatively straight-forward is their Value range - and within that range sits their Pure Apple Juice product.

The juice is made from concentrate, and does possess a particularly strong, acidic taste different to other brands. I don't know if this is to do with the level of pure juice and chemicals in the drink, but the taste is altogether quite refreshing if served cool. For added brilliance, drink cold during a hot summers day after doing a spot of guardening - the taste is altogether more intense when you've found some thirst.

The packaging is less appealing. To save manufacturing costs Tesco have opted for the most basic, cheap looking exterior to this product they could manage. The red, blue and white colour scheme expresses the products Britishness. The materials the cartons are made from are easy to open (or cut) but cannot be recealed like other fresh juice products.

Tesco Value Apple Juice is very inexpensive for what it is. Your getting a whole letre of good tasting, well packaged juice for just 56p.
Thats a great deal, and drastically different to the £1.40+ you will pay for freshly-squeezed juice.

Summary: A great drink when served cool.
