Tesco Value Pure Apple Juice.

Price: Just 56p for 1 litre.

So what do you get for your money?

PACKAGING

Tesco value apple juice comes in a cardboard carton, it has a perforated corner opening, but this can be a struggle to open and you may find it easier to open with a pair of scissors.

TASTE.

I find that this apple juice is quite diluted in taste, but you can taste that it contains apples. Its fairly sweet but not too sweet. It is refreshing when served chilled.

This is a clear apple juice rather than a cloudy juice.

MY VERDICT

Its a no frills price and a no frills taste.

For me this juice is OK, I am never going to find myself really enjoying a glass of value apple juice, but it's OK to wet the whistle. However, my daughter has ADHD and it's important, for my sanity, that I avoid E numbers and sugary products with her. If I am serving her a leading apple juice i would normally dilute it before giving it to her. This juice contains approx the same nutritional values as leading apple juices, but if I diluted this juice down it would just taste of water. Not a drink I will be serving to my daughter.

I wouldn't suggest trying these for making ice lollies either as I don't think there is enough taste to it.

I won't be buying this juice again, I would rather push the boat out and pay the extra 30p for Tesco pure apple juice.

A very diluted apple juice drink, refreshing if served chilled, good for wetting the whistle that's about it!
