Advantages: Great taste, lovely and sweet, lots of delicious fruits that compliment each other well.

Disadvantages: Lots of sugar.

Tesco Exotic Juice Drink is provided in a 1 litre carton which is purple in colour and has a picture of an exotic fruit on the front. It is quite appealing on the eye and definitely stands out on the same shelf as the orange & apple juices in Tesco stores.

This juice is made up of quite a few juices from concentrates & juice purees. Apple, orange, grape, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot juice, guava all from concentrate & peach & mango puree. This makes up over 40% of the juice and although I'd like this figure to be higher it's perfectly acceptable with the majority of the rest made up of water and around 7% added sugar. There is 130 calories and 30.8g of sugar per 250ml so this should be enjoyed in moderation as it's 34% of an adults recommend daily allowance of sugar and could quite easily rot away at your teeth if overdone. I can feel a sugary coating on my teeth when I have drank too much of this and it's a little unpleasant and always makes me want to brush my teeth within minutes of finishing.

The juice itself is very refreshing and the different juices/purees compliment each other perfectly. I thoroughly enjoy this juice drink and it's a firm favourite at Sunday lunchtimes in Tom's house. I find that the pineapple and the orange are the tastes that stand out to me the most but I can't individually identify each of the fruits because it's quite a tangy mixture. This drink is also delicious as a mixer or with some crushed ice and chopped fruit as a thick smoothie. I would definitely recommend this juice and drink it regularly (providing there is any left in the fridge of course!).

I am rating this juice 5/5 as at 92p or 2 for £1.50 (long term price offer) it's an absolutely fantastic price for a delicious, refreshing, sweet juice drink. The carton is recyclable also which is great as it means less rubbish for the landfill.

Summary: A tangy sweet tasting exotic juice drink.
