      Advantages

      Disadvantages

It's just a nice drink with a difference

I am a big fan of fizzy pops, and have liked to drink them for as long as I can remember. One of my favourites has to b Tesco's Fiery Cola. It sounds a bit scary, but it is a great drink. It costs just 55p for a large plastic bottle of two litres of this fantastic drink.

The reason it's called 'fiery' cola is due to the fact that it contains chillies. I have eaten chocolate with chilli before and was actually first introduced to this by my other half. I also like a really good strong ginger beer or ginger ale, and as I really enjoy the back of the throat fiery kick of stuff like this, I thought I'd quite like the dink version, too.

This is best served very cold - straight from the fridge. It is nice and fizzy when the bottle is new (but goes flat very soon after opening, more so than any other fizzy pop I have had). The bottle emits that nice sharp hiss as you remove the twist off cap and as it's poured into a tall glass you can really see the bubbles.

The drink is very thirst quenching and very refreshing. It's great served with ice on a hot summer's day and a great alternative to ginger beer or even just your normal run of the mill coke.

It's got a really pleasant taste, not too sweet, but with a good after kick at the back of the throat. If you are worried about ring this for the first time for fear that it may be too strong - don't be. It's just a mild hit and not a sudden sharp sting of chillies - it won't take you by surprise. I am sure you will love it. It's new and it's different and it's not so expensive that if you didn't like it, you wouldn't have wasted a load of money.

      Very much recommended.

Something a bit different to try from Tesco.....

Tesco Fiery Cola is a new product on the shelves that I decided to purchase just the other week. Already being a fan of their other alternative cola (flavoured with a hint of almond?) I decided to give this a go and see what I thought. As suggested by the title of this product, the drink is a tradditiuonal cola flavoured with a hint of Chilli!! Yes thats right ~ Chilli!! And no, this is not a wind-up!!!!

Upon first tasting this, I was pleasently surprised as I had bought this with the idea that it really might not work! Instead what you get is a pleasent enough own-brand cola with just a little kick! The heat is not extreme for anyone who enjoys a mild chilli and it is just like regular cola except for a hint of spice! Certainly drinking this is no different from drinking fiery Ginger Beer! The heat is about the same!

It is not something I would drink every week, but it was nice for a change. Like all cheap colas though, it did suffer from going flat fairly quickly and if you do not drink the whole 2 ltr bottle in one night, then you might find it has lost much of its fizz by the next day!! This also has the joint effect of strangely also rendering the spice a little less potent! It seemed a lot more spicy the night before at full-fizz but maybe that was just my imagination!

Certainly this is something different and it is worth buying just to try! It only costs 54p so if you buy it and don't like it, you can soon make your money back by writing a review of it on here!

For me though, I actually quite liked it even though I would not buy it all the time!!!
