Tesco Fiery Ginger Beer is one of my favourite soft drinks in this price range. A bottle costs only 47p, and there's a long standing offer that means you can get three for £1.20 too which works out at only 40p per bottle. That's pretty darn cheap for 2lt of any soft drink, let alone one as nice as this!

What I like about this is that it's both fiery and thirst quenching at the same time. When I drink a mouthful of this fizzy drink, it tastes really fizzy, spicey and as the name suggest, fiery. It really flares up my taste buds and has a very dry, hot flavour to it. But when I drink it down and swallow it, then it becomes surprisingly thirst quenching.

It's got a really strong smell to it as well, which I think is a big part of the appeal. Often when you buy a cheap fizzy drink, like Tesco own Cola, you don't get much of a scent to whet your appetite. But you really do with this. It's invigorating just to open the bottle.

This is great drunk alone but it's nicest over ice, or used as a mixer with white spirits like Vodka and Bacardi. At as little as 40p per 2lt bottle, I don't think you can go far wrong with this. I think it deserves five stars because I like it so much I'd happily pay £1.50 a bottle for this stuff.
