********** Description ********** Tesco's Finest Earl Grey Tea bags come in packs of 50 and 100. The box of 50 bags is predominantly black and silver, and has a portrait of the Earl (I presume) after whom the coffee is named. The perforations are curved so that they follow the Earl's chin outline, and each time you open the box you remove his head from his shoulders, which is a bit odd. ****************** Ingredients and values ****************** The list of ingredients is straightforward: Tea, flavouring, Oil of Bergamot It's quite unusual to find an Earl Grey Tea Bag which actually lists Oil of Bergamot as one of ... Earl Grey tea started out as an occasional treat in my house, then a bit less occasional, and now it's all I drink. Having previously tried all the commonly available brands (Twinings, Clipper etc), I have stuck with the Tesco Finest version as being the most enjoyable version of the flavour i've tried. Earl Grey is given its distinctive scented nature by adding Bergamot oil to fine black tea. It is traditionally served either with milk or with a slice of lemon. I find the first is best for the morning, but if you are on a diet or need a refreshing boost, a slice of lemon adds a delicious ... Read the complete review

I do love a nice cup of tea and I have over my many years on the planet tried many various types of tea, I usually always return to the trusted Tetley tea bag but this might no longer be the case. Having discovered the Tesco Earl Grey tea bags I think they might be my regular buy from now on, these tea bags come in box`s of 50 or 100 and have a portrait of a chap I assume to be "Earl" on the box. The tea bags give you a very mild cuppa and they are flavoured with oil of Bergamot, which gives just a slight taste change and one that I really enjoyed. Earl Grey tea bags do not generally have oil of Bergamot as flavouring but these do and it ... Read the complete review
