I've been working my way through the various green tea's that are on offer these days and when I was in Tesco's, I noticed this one on the shelf so thought I'd give it a go. It cost me just under £1 for a box of 20 bags which I thought was fairly reasonable.

The bags are rectangular in shape and are sat in the box in twos. The have a perforated edge so that you can tear them apart easily. The actual bag is rather strong and there appears to be rather a lot of tea leaves within the sack which is always promising.

Green tea is suppose to made in the normal way that you'd make a brew but without the milk. These particular bags recommended that I pour on the water, let the bag sit for a cuple of minutes before draining the bag and drinking it.

I was impressed with the time it took for the bag to turn the water greeny, brownish and I couldn't avoid the tangy smell of lemon wading through the air.

Like I have already said before, I have tried quite a lot of different flavours of green tea and I have t say that this is by far my favourite. I find with a lot of tea's, I can't taste much of the flavouring but only hot water but this one is different. The lemon is strong without being overpowering and it gives the tea a really light feel to it. The actual green tea isn't too bitter and the whole thing really compliments each other. Even when the tea has cooled to lukewarm, it tastes good.

If you like green tea then I would highly recommend this one. It's cheap and tasty and the best one I have found yet!
