Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: horrible taste

Kick is an energy drink that is sold under Tesco's own brand name. This allows the store to sell it for much cheaper than some of the leading brands of energy drink.

FLAVOUR
First of this stuff tastes horrible, but I still used to drink it. It was so cheap it made it nasty but in my younger years I didn't care how I got the energy or hat taste I had to endure. If it was affordable and would give me a boost in energy I would buy it. As this was my local store I visited it more often than other stores and generally only bought this when I was out and about. I would never buy it to take home and sit in the house and drink. I don't believe there has been any attempt to add a flavour to this drink, which means the taste comes from the energy ingredients. I see this much like Red Bull which has the same sort of taste, which I didn't give a good review. So this is in the same boat.

PACKAGING
The bottles come in a silver colour, unlike most bottles which are see through. Why you ask? If you could see the colour of the liquid inside, you probably wouldn't buy it all. I can only liken it to apple juice, which I don't think is a rather appealing colour. (Still don't mind apple juice though) It has a blue label and can be easily identified.

DISTRIBUTION
This can be bought in can and bottle form for prices as low as 30p a can I believe, which is why it appealed to me in my younger days.

Definitely wouldn't go near this product even again unless I was in dire need of energy drink, for what reason I don't know, and it was the only thing I could afford to purchase. So hopefully it's a scenario I won't ever find myself in.

Summary: Not for me
