I love cranberry juice, just love it.....particulary with vodka....but also I really enjoy a long cold glass with my breakfast. I love the dry yet thirst quencing taste and for me it is the perfect morning juice.

The premium brand of cranberry juice I had been drinking was rather expensive though and due to the credit crunch I decided to take Martin Lewis advice and go down a level a for some of my shopping. I tried the standard Tesco's cranberry juice and it was way to sweet for me so I decided to try the Light Choices range.

The packaging is quite distinctive and is in line with the rest of the 'Light Choices' ranges, it is a white carton with the light choices logo and features a very appetizing pile of juicy red cranberries. The carton also has a plastic resealable clip that makes it easier to store and means spillages in the fridge are less likely.

It was way cheaper than my previous brand, coming in at about 30p less a carton and costing 62p for a 1 litre carton.

Tastewise, it was much lighter tasting than other brands and perhaps not quite as tart as you might expect cranberry juice to be. I find it really refreshing and a really cold glass with ice is my perfect drink on a realloy hot day. The only real disadvantage for me, is that it is sweetened with Aspartame, something I generally try and avoid and I do think that the sweetner can be detected in the favour of the juice.

Overall though I am pleased with this juice and the pennies I have saved have persuaded me to stick with it.
