Advantages: Handy size, great value for money

Disadvantages: I cannot think of any

I have been a squash lover for years. Drinking water on it's own just feels so plain to me! I would rather go without than drink water.

I stumbled across tesco's new double concentrated range one day and thought I would give them a go. What a brilliant idea! I found this easier to take to work in my handbag and I can now actually fit them in my cupboard too! At 73p they are a bargain too! It is available in two sizes - the larger saving you even more money.

~ The Packaging ~

The squash comes in a clear recyclable bottle and features an attractive pale blue and lime green label which states the name of the product and that it is double concentrated. The nutrional chart is also on the front. It states that it contains only a few calories per glass of squash.

~ The Product ~

You do not even have to use half of the amount that you do on the previous normal concentrated juices like Robinsons. The smell is really sweet and the juice is a pale lemon/lime colour.

The taste is really refreshing and easy to drink and very low in calories so is not that much worse than just drinking water. Tesco's Mexican Lime is not to be confused with the strong, sharper lime juice that is available and used as a mixer drink. There is no nasty aftertaste of the sweetener that I have experienced with the tropical fruit and orange, lemon and pineapple.

One of my other favourites from the range is Cherries and Berries which is a lot sweeter but is delicious served warm.

~ My Opinion ~

This is a great cheaper alternative to Robinsons squashes and the range is extensive with something to suit all tastes. A big thumbs up from me!

Summary: Easy to drink and very refreshing
