... is a pure orange juice, and not a watered down "orange juice drink" but it does taste quite mild in my opinion, without a really strong and overpowering flavour. This makes it refreshing and easy to drink. The nutritional information is given on the carton and it contains 120 calories in every 250 ml glass. It also has quite a lot of natural sugar, as one 250 ml glass contains 29% of all your recommended sugar intake for one day, so although it does count towards your five a day and is healthy I do take ca...more

Tesco Pure Orange Juice: Slightly modern bottle but a fantastic refreshing drink (360 words)

I didn't recognise the picture of the orange juice as the bottle is more modern now. It has photos of oranges all over, with a blue box on the front with the description 'Tesco Orange Juice from concentrate Smooth' (the writing is blue, white and orange) so as you can imagine it is a rather attractive and bright carton! It has a white plastic screw top (which is easy to close and open, not too hard) and the best before just above that. Right at the bottom of the carton is the nutritional informational, which is really easy to read. On the back of the carton is plenty of information for those who want to read it. This contains freezing guidelines, defrost info, ...  Read the complete review

Richness In A Glass (770 words)

Being a beautiful spring day where I am at the minute, with the heat I found myself getting very thirsty. So, I popped into my local Tesco and went right to the fruit juice section to see what was available and ended up picking up a carton of their Orange Juice Smooth. I love fruit juices and hoped this one would be quite a nice one as I am a loyal Tropicana drinker but for the price I decided it was cheaper and it is 2 litres. The packaging is very eye catching instantly being stacked next to the clear containers. The carton has oranges all over it, piled up to really portray the fruit and it is very vibrant and caught my eye right away. The carton as I ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Pure Orange Juice: I'm so pure :-) (327 words)

If there is one item that has got to be on our table at Breakfast time it has to be Fresh Orange Juice. I usually check the fridge of a night to make sure the container is full enough as I (and my family) like it to be chilled. I have always felt that Pure Orange Juice (not to be mixed up with other orange juice) is a great way of starting everybody off with their 1 a day - Tesco's Pure Orange Juice, does just that. As you would expect with a huge store like Tesco, their Pure Orange Juice comes in many different sizes and colours. The one we usually get is similar to the one above but with a slightly different lid - ours is a white flat one, but then again ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Pure Orange Juice: A sweet, succulent juicy drink. (285 words)

Tesco Pure Orange Juice is provided in a 1 litre carton which is blue in colour and has a picture of an orange on the front. It is quite appealing on the eye and definitely stands out to me when browsing the juice shelf. This juice is made up from orange juice from concentrate which is squeezed orange juice with the water extracted, it is then shipped & then the water is added back during the packaging process. This means that it won't taste quite as nice as freshly squeezed orange juice (in my opinion) but it travels well and lasts quite well when opened (I find around 5-7 days to be fine). There are 120 calories and 26.3g of sugars per 250ml so enjoy in ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Pure Orange Juice: Freshly squeezed (410 words)

I have been buying Tesco Orange juice for a while now on and off, as they always appear to be on offer in my local Tesco; two for £2 which is a great buy! I started buying this when I was advised I needed to up my intake of vitamin C, which this Orange juice contains 25.0mg per 330ml serving which is quite high for a mid range priced Orange juice. Up on opening the carton the Orange smells really fresh like it has just been squeezed unlike some orange juices that simply smell sweet. You can buy Tesco Orange juice smooth or with bits in, I prefer the smooth type as drinking bits doesn't really make it enjoyable for ...  Read the complete review
