I have been buying Tesco Orange juice for a while now on and off, as they always appear to be on offer in my local Tesco; two for £2 which is a great buy!

I started buying this when I was advised I needed to up my intake of vitamin C, which this Orange juice contains 25.0mg per 330ml serving which is quite high for a mid range priced Orange juice.

Up on opening the carton the Orange smells really fresh like it has just been squeezed unlike some orange juices that simply smell sweet.


You can buy Tesco Orange juice smooth or with bits in, I prefer the smooth type as drinking bits doesn't really make it enjoyable for me!!


I have found drinking this ice cold with ice is brings the taste out better than drinking it soon as you have bought it from Tesco, as it won't be that cold.

The taste of this orange juice can take a while to get use too, as the taste is strong but not sweet; there are no added sugars apart from the natural ones or anything else, apart from oranges!
I have noticed sometimes after drinking this orange the taste will hang around for a while but to be honest that maybe the same with all orange juices as I have found.

I made my own orange juice awhile back and found it never tasted as good as this!!

You should drink orange juice with your food as it helps to bring out the iron in it and helps your body take more of the goodness out of the food.

My advice is not to drink this after 3 days of opening it as it can start to taste quite nasty and bitter, but it does state you can keep it opened for up to 5 days.

The other point to note, if you have a small fridge it can be very hard to fit the carton in the door, so you will need to lay it down on a shelf.
