Advantages: low in fat

Disadvantages: not as tasty as full fat

I really like tea and found myself getting through so many cartons of milk that I figured it must be quite bad for me (or fattening really). I decided to switch to skimmed milk.

At first I thought it tasted like water and my tea wasn't so creamy but I prefered it on my cereal and thought that I would get used to it. Over the past 5 years I think I have conditioned myslef to like it best.

Skimmed milk is much thinner than full fat milk and semi-skimmed milk. It does seem as if the majority of it is water with but I don't think this is a problem, I still like it. It is only 1% fat which is great if you're conscious of that kind of thing or on a diet. If you drink as much tea as I do and have cereal every morning I'm sure it will make a big difference.

Recently, I have been drinking full fat milk a lot because my partner drinks it and when he buys the milk that's hwat we get. I have to say I am realising how I have missed the full creamy taste of fll fat milk and I might be converted back.

Skimmed milk is low in fat and perfectly fine but doesnt really beat the taste of full fat milk.

Summary: good if you're worried about fat content
