Advantages: Good for the waistline

Disadvantages: some may not like the watery taste

Tesco's skimmed milk is not really of superior taste, nor quality, but it is of superior price in that it is one of the cheapest on the market, but isn't of dire quality.

The packaging isn't amazing: just red so you can identify it as skimmed milk. The bottle itself is clear, useful for seeing how mcuh milk is left, and the nutritional information is displayed on the front, as well as the definitive 'tesco' name. The milk comes in 1l size, which will set you back about 86p, or a larger 2l size, which may well be better value for money, although if it's just for personal use, probably not.

This milk is a lot less thick than whole milk, and most people don't like the taste, saying it's just water with a bit of milk. However, this is much healthier and lower in fat and calories, so is my personal choice.

Enjoy with cereals, on its own, or in a nice cup of tea or coffee!
