I have a wonderful smoothie maker so rarely buy ready made ones anymore, I only actually ended up with this one because it was hugely reduced in price at just 49p instead of the usual price of £1.97. Please note that the packaging above is the old style bottle, this Smoothie now comes in a carton with a screw top lid like the Innocent brand which I personally think is much better. The design is good; the lid pours well and I find the carton easy to hold which is especially useful to arthritis sufferers such as myself who struggle to comfortably hold more rounded bottles due to the lack of physical grips. I must say I'm very impressed with ... Read the complete review

I've never been a huge fan of smoothie and definitely wouldn't have chosen it myself however the past two months or so, I've loved to have a nice drink of fresh fruit smoothie during the day. I do like the branded versions however Tesco smoothies are incredibly good too. One of the ones that I have taken joy in trying is the Tesco strawberry and banana smoothie! The smoothie comes in two different sizes. The smaller bottle is 250ml which is a typical serving size anyway and this size would be bought if you were on the go and wanted a nice fruity top up. The larger bottle contains a litre and would therefore be more for storing at home and will give you around ... Read the complete review

I'm a smoothie addict - a glass of smoothie is definitely an important part of my lunch break! My usual brand is 'Innocent' but the prices are just extraordinary, therefor I was incredibly happy to see that Tesco has own brand smoothies on offer. Well, looking at the price was a surprise, it's not as cheap as I expected it to be; 1.90 Pound for one litre is similar to my Innocent smoothies. Still, I gave it a try and was not disappointed. I loved it and had to hide the box if not by boyfriend would have finished it within one day. The taste surprised me a bit; the strawberries mixed very well with the bananas and although bananas are cheaper ... Read the complete review

I have been eating quite a lot of junk food recently and my body was crying out for something healthy. I love Smoothies and saw this one in Tesco yesterday while i was doing my shopping. The original price is £1.97 but it was reduced to 92p. Bargain i thought and stuck it in my basket. I would never normally pay full price for this but i thought it would be a nice treat as it was half the price. The flavour of the smoothie is Strawberry and Banana and as they are my two favourite fruits, i couldnt wait to drink it. The carton is in an eyecatching tall pink carton with a screw top lid. Once you have opened the carton, Tesco advises you to use it ... Read the complete review

I bought this instead of a brand named smoothie simply because I didn't have enough change in my purse! I was really pleased to discover that it tasted exactly the same as any other - I suppose not much can change when most smoothie companies claim that there is 100% fruit in the drink and nothing else! Tesco got the balance of strawberries and bananas just right; there was no banana sticking to the roof of my mouth, or sour strawberry ruining the taste. It was also very smooth, which, surprisingly isnt't often the case! One thing I have noticed about other smoothies is that they are becoming increasingly thinner in consistency, giving the impression of more of a juice, ... Read the complete review
