Me and my boyfriend love nothing more than at the weekend to relax and buy in some junk food and watch a good movie, since the credit crunch has hit us so hard over the last month we have been looking at ways to make our little weekend feasts more affordable, and I think that Tesco Sugar Free Limeade is one of the best discoveries we have made yet.

Tesco Sugar Free Limeade is a lime flavoured fizzy drink that comes in a 2 litre bottle, this drink is bright green in colour though dont let that put you off as it is free from artificial colours and flavours, so you know that it is more natural than it looks.

Tesco Sugar Free Limeade tastes great in my opinion, my boyfriend who is normally fussy about food and drink also likes it (which was actually a shock to me), it doesnt taste too strong of lime and it is nice and sweet, it also isnt too fizzy or too flat in my opinion, though if you leave it for anything over 2 days it will go really flat which ruins the taste of it.

You can buy a bottle of this for around 40p in Tescos at the moment which is a great and affordable price, if you think that a 2 litre bottleof Sprite (though I do admit Sprite does taste better) costs almost £2 in some shops and £1.50 in most, and a 500ml can costs 50p, so 2 litres of Tesco Sugar Free Limeade is cheaper than a tin of Sprite, thats a great alternative and a great way to save money.

Though dont let it get on your clothes, its stains everything and can be a real pain to get out, it also can leave you with those green marks on your lips which can be annoying too.

So in 250ml of Tesco Sugar Free Limeade there is:
3 calories
trace sugar
0g fat
0g (saturates)
trace salt

So this drink is just like flavoured carbonated water, and wont harm you too much as there is no added sugar, though carbonated drinks can be bad for your health, so its still best that you keep this drink for a little treat.
