I do most of my shopping in Tesco as it is very near my home. If I am in Brighton City Centre I will then go to Waitrose or Marks and Spencer. But to be honest, Tesco has just about everything that I could want, food wise and all under one roof. I also buy online with Tesco if I am quite busy any particular week. What I think is great about Tesco is that they offer a 'Value' range for people on a bit of a budget. These items from the value range are extremely good on the whole and excellent value too.

On our last shopping trip we purchased amonst other things a 2 litre bottle of Tesco Tropical Juice Drink. It was a good size bottle and costing only 99p. I get through quite a lot of juice and usually get Tropicana or Tesco finest, which is rather expensive. But the colour of this Tropical Juice looked really inviting and such a good sized container, so we thought we'd get this and give it a try. -

The 2 litres of Tropical Juice comes in a large plastic bottle with handle, much like a milk container. It has a bright yellow lid and a colourful label to the front which shows the fruits that are contained inside. The juice is made from a mix of fruit juices from concentrate. The drink contains 125 calories, 30.0g sugar and 1% salt. It is also suitable for vegetarians. It is recommended that you keep this juice refrigerated and once opened, consume within 5 days. Look for the 'use by' date and use by this time. The Juice is smooth with no bits and pale orange in colouring. -

Well I must admit that I was expecting NOT to like this! I have had 'Tropical' juices before, Iceland being a prime example, and they have been horrible. Get the mixture and quantity of fruit wrong and the result can be a bit of a disaster. But in the case of Tesco, they have made a very interesting Tropical Juice drink here and it is absolutely delicious. The balance of fruits is just right. It has a really lovely and lively flavour with full fruitiness and no one ingredient dominates the rest.

Tesco Tropical Juice drink is a smooth blend of exotic and not so exotic fruits that are in complete harmony. I shall definitely be buying this again as I love the flavour and also the fact that the 2 litre bottle is only 99p is an added bonus. Why not take a look on the Tesco Website. You will have to register to view the products and it is a very clear and well laid out site. I definitely recommend this product for its sheer good value and great taste.-
