Tesco value range is something that I sample on quite a regular basis. I find it is generally great value for money. Having two children who drink like drains, I want a squash that is not only cost effective but flavoursome too.

This Tesco value lemon squash double concentrate, is a real favourite in our household. Not only is this squash great for the kids. It is also very favourable with us grownups too.

The cost of this squash is 58p for 1.5 litres. Which, I consider to be astounding value. Especially when put to the taste test. It is very thirst quenching. It is bursting with sweet lemon flavour. It also has an undertone of sharpness which I always look for in a soft drink.

The best thing about this squash is that because it is concentrated, you only need half the amount you would usually use to make up a drink. This proved a little tricky at first. We were all guilty of making the squash too strong. However now we have negotiated the perfect squash to water ratio and it is divine.

I like to make up a jug of this squash and keep it chilled in the fridge. When it is cold, this drink is taken to a higher level. I thoroughly enjoy a cold glass of this squash. I find it really quenches my thirst, whilst also tantilising my taste buds.

The nutritional values of this squash are displayed clearly on the plastic bottle. Also there is a comprehensive list of ingredients which will help the consumer make a concious decision in purchasing or not. The packaging itself, is not particularly pleasing. It is typical of the tesco value range with the simplistic blue and white logo. But I can assure you, that what this product lacks in looks it makes up with in flavour.

My children love to make ice lollies using this squash in the summer. Due to the high concentrate in this squash, it actually works really well. The lollies are highly delicious and great on a hot summer day out the garden. Equally, I enjoy adding boiling water to this lemon squash. It makes a deliciously different alternative to tea and coffee. I also find it quite comforting, particularly when I am feeling under the weather.

This squash is really lovely and I would highly recommend this drink to anyone who likes lemon flavour. This drink is a great thirst quencher, it is cheap in price and a 1.5 litre bottle lasts around a week in our household of two adults and two children. So it is a trooper as far as im concerned!!
