Tesco Value pure orange Juice.... Its cheep and it's worth it.

I'm not going to bother saying what it is as I'm sure you all know by the name.

MY EXPERIENCE......

I really like a glass of orange juice with my breakfast but I never used to buy it as it was too expensive and I used to get it as a treat but when I went into Tesco one day I noticed this juice and the price just being 50p so I brought a carton and took it home and when I tried it I was so happy as I tough it my be horrid as some can be but to my delight it was yummy and I buy it every week now

TASTE & TEXTURE.......

This juice has a mild orange taste, its not too bitter and it's not too sweet its just right the only thing is that it does taste a bit artificial like it has preservatives & this product does not have any pulp or horrible bits in it. Unlike some of the more expensive ones.
With some other orange juices can be quite sharp and bitter, others can be very sweet like your drinking a cup of sugar & some even have those horrid bits in.
I like this Orange Juice and it helps when it only costs around 50p per carton.

INGREDIENTS & NUTRITION....

It says that it is just orange juice from concentrate.

The nutrition guidelines are as follows per 250ml contains:-

Energy 495kj/ 120 kcal
Protein, 1.3g
Carbohydrate 26.0g
Of which sugars 26.0g
Fat = trace
Of which saturates = 0.0g
Fibre = 0.0g
Sodium = 0.0g
Salt = 0.0g

and compared to your guideline daily amounts for a typical adult is as follows per 250 ml serving:-

Calories = 120kcal 6% of your daily intake
Sugar= 26g = 29% of you daily intake (quite high in my eyes)
Fat = trace = <1% of your daily intake
Saturated fat = 0.0 g = 0% of you daily guideline intake
Salt = 0.0g = 0% of your guideline daily intake.

PRODUCT PRESENTATION......

As it is Tesco value it comes in the boring blue and white carton with a picture of a glass of orange juice on it surrounded by whole oranges, it does look quite appealing but not like some others that have a tropical background.

On the presentation on the front it also gives you your guideline daily amount on it and I like to see this as I am kind of wary on my guideline daily intake as I would like to stay healthy.

PRODUCT QUALITY.....

I think this product is very good quality for its price but maybe not as good as some of the more expensive ones, it's good enough for me thou.

WOULD I RECOMEND....?

YES. If you are an orange juice fan and think that all the others are too expensive then this is the one to give a try, but I wouldn't recommend if your not too keen on a bit of an artificial flavour. However this is definitely one for me.
