I have a cold. I'm officially blaming my buddy Seth for this. It's not so bad though, i've had plenty of colds in my time and now have a tried and tested method for a quick recovery.

Part of this method involves Tesco Value Orange Juice (Pure Juice as opposed to concentrate) ... and here's why.

First of all, as many will know, orange's and their juice are an excellent source of vitamin C, vital for building a healthy immune system. Given this fact, i tend to drink about a litre of orange juice a day when ill, which is handy because these cartons come in litres.

Given the volume that i drink, cost could be an issue, but not so with this particular brand since it only retails at around 40p a carton.

All this would be mute points however if it didn't taste any good. I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite brands of orange juice. It has a sweeter taste than many brands, and while this may not be to everyone's taste, it works for me.

Now for the numbers ...

A 250ml serving will generally be good for 120 calories (6% of your daily intake) but does contain 26 grams of sugar (about 29% of your intake) so under normal circumstances excessive consumption isn't advised.
Even better, a glass of this will count towards your 5 portions of fruit or veg for the day (but only 1).

Overall, very drinkable and great for a quick healthy fix... I'm feeling better already.

Summary: Great juice at a low price
