Great juice, fantastic price (Tesco Value Orange Juice)

Advantages: Extremely cheap, yet still very nice to drink, and not all that different to brands costing double!

Disadvantages: Very slight bitter edge to it, but you might even prefer this

As part of my recession "belt-tightening" I'm doing the "down-ranking" challenge set by the Money Saving Expert - basically this involves dropping down to the next rank of each product you buy, and keeping the ones you find just as good as the more expensive ones or the ones that aren't quite as good but still more than good enough and a lot cheaper.

Tropicana and other premium orange juices can easily cost 2 or 3 times what this Tesco Value Orange juice costs. Admittedly, you can taste the difference (there's a very slight bitterness to this), but it doesn't really taste worse.... just very slightly different.

I once did a week of eating ONLY Tesco Value products, to see which I liked and which it was worth buying a more expensive brand version.

The Tesco Value juices were among the highlights for me, being very close to the premium brands in terms of deliciousness, while being a LOT cheaper. My girlfriend actually prefers the Tesco Value Apple juice over the more expensive brand stuff!

For me, this Orange juice is a great way to save money without really sacrificing taste. Highly recommended!

Summary: Great tasting juice at a super-low price. I'll drink to that!
