Advantages: Cheap, Smooth & Yummy
Disadvantages: Comes in Tesco Value Packaging
Since I was very young I have always had a glass of orange juice in the morning with my breakfast and once I moved out of my parents house 6 years ago I realised how expensive it was so started shopping around for the cheapest but nicest orange juice. I have tried many brands and supermarket own brands but am very happy with Tesco Value Orange Juice.
It has over the years increased in price but I still feel its prices very competitively in the market at 56p for 1 litre. Both my husband and I have a small glass every morning and a 1 litre carton lasts about 6 days.
The carton is blue with a visual of a glass of orange juice and oranges on the front. Along with the well known "Tesco Value" writing at the top. On the back is nutritional information, ingredients and contact details. The carton is made of cardboard which allows it to be recycled once empty.
The carton is easy to open with a perforated corner which allows you to tear off and pour. Personally I prefer to use scissors otherwise I end up spilling the orange juice.
It recommends you shake well before use but I don't find it's necessary as the juice is nice and smooth with no bits. It's made from concentrate and holds a refreshing, true orange flavour.
I always serve the orange juice chilled from the fridge.
I would recommend this Orange Juice as a breakfast drink or a mixer to accompany spirits like Vodka. I feel its excellent value for money. There are many products which you can not lower the brand but I feel Orange Juice is one that is more than satisfactory.
Summary: Great Orange Juice with a Great price Tag
