I'm a big fan of orange juice and tend to drink it most mornings with my breakfast! It's my favourite juice, I am also a big fan of tesco value products as they are usually of good quality and usually are just as good as the other competitor brands which are much more expensive. I was slightly disappointed by this particular product, I wish it was better! This orange juice is made from concentrate so it's not pure orange juice. I will now go into more details about this product.

Price:

You can buy 1 litre of this for roughly 60p, it comes in a cardboard container that has to be opened using scissors. It's a very good price compared to others on the shelf, most competitors to this are well over the pound mark. The reason why this is cheaper is because it is concentrate And not pure juice. It's good value though which makes it worth trying.

Taste:

The taste is nothing brilliant, it is very tart and not particularly appealing. The orange juice leaves a tangy taste in your mouth which i don't like very much. It's not got a fresh taste like you would expect, however its not undrinkable. If I'm on a budget I buy this, in the morning I'm not usually very with it so I don't notice the taste. If I have people overnight I tend to get some of this in so they have the option of juice in the morning. You can't complain too much for the price! I didn't expect anything mind blowing, it's cheap a bit nasty, but drinkable. There is not much you can say about the taste! It's not very memorable. I'm satisfied with my buy, but it's definately not my favourite tesco value product that I have tried.

Overall:

It's great value and does the job, it's got very simple packaging which doesnt really add much to the product. I would advice you to try this, but not to expect it to be amazing. It's an average attempt at orange juice. I have found most tesco value products worth trying and some match more expensive products, this unfortunately isn't as good as others, it's not terrible but not great. Give it a try if you like orange juice. It's a good idea to buy for parties or cocktails like we did at christmas time! Great for mixing drinks with :)


I will give it 3/5 becuase it's distinctively average.
