I have tried many of the Tesco value products and I happy with most of them. One of the few exceptions is their value Orange juice. It is cheap, at 53 pennies for a litre and 36 for 3 small ones of 250ml, surely it is cheap, but I find it a bit too sour and compared to much more expansive juice fruits like Tropicana, it is miles away ... Tesco Value Orange Juice Description: Manufacturer: Tesco / Type: Fruit Juice A 1 litre carton of this juice cost me just £0.57. It is part of the Tesco value range, do don't expect fancy packaging, but remember that you are saving money because you are not paying for a posh box! It is a white and blue carton with ... Tesco Value Orange Juice. Yesterday I wrote a review about Tesco Value Apple Juice, I wasn't overly impressed with that one so I wasn't expecting much from the Orange Juice. This 1lire carton costs 56p THE PACKAGING This is part of the Value range so it comes packaged in the recognisable vale range ... Read the complete review

The usual and common misconception of supermarket's own brand products is that if they are so cheap, there must be a reason so they must lack in quality and taste. But, as I previously mentioned this is a misconception and a majority of own brand products surprisingly taste exactly the same or almost the same as the leading brand products. I ... Expensive drinks are something I'm not really fond of having to pay out for because they just don't last long at all. I was in Tesco and decided to try some of their Value Orange Juice, at just 56p for a litre I didn't think I'd have much to lose and I'd save the extra pound I would have paid for a carton of Tropicana. The juice comes ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value Orange Juice First of all for the price you pay, this is a very reasonable purchase. It tastes quite nice, is in a durable container and contains all the goodness you would expect from a glass of orange juice. However as this is in the value range, don't expect anything too great, if you are using this in a ... Read the complete review

We have bought Tesco Value Orange Juice many many times over the years. It comes in a 1 litre carton in the usual blue and white Tesco Value packaging. It is orange juice made from concentrate and costs around 40p. I can taste no difference between this juice and the Tesco own brand orange juice. Obviously it is not as good as fresh juice, but for ... Read the complete review

I love having a big breakfast in the morning as it usually means i am less likely to snack on sweets and chocolate in the afternoon. They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day so i always make sure i have a good one. I love a lovely cold glass of pure orange with my toast and cereal as it helps wake me up when i still feel ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of buying food as cheap as possible, it just makes me happy that my fridge is full of stuff and i spend a fraction of what some branded items usually cost. I first bought Tesco's orange juice when i went shopping in Tesco and saw that it was for 56p only. Although i prefer 'not from concentrate' juice over other ... Read the complete review

Walking around Tesco today I was feeling really feeling thirsty and decided to stock up on some drinks. I go the gym and go out walking a lot but I hate to have to pay top notch prices for drinks and so like to take drinks with me to save a few pennies! I saw this drink first off in the 1 litre box in Tesco which costs 56p but for me that didn't ... Read the complete review

Like a lot of us, in my house we're currently trying to cut back on our spending. One of the ways we're doing this is by moving down a level in our supermarket shopping. As a result of this, we've been trying a lot of different value/basics products and in most cases we're been pleasantly surprised. Before trying this we only ever drank ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value orange juice is a perfect drink and one of the few Tesco value products, which I think is worth buying. It has a great taste and is really cheap. It's a longlife pure orange juice made from concentrate and comes in a cardboard container. You pull up one end of the carton on top to make a triangle shape before cutting it with ... As part of my recession "belt-tightening" I'm doing the "down-ranking" challenge set by the Money Saving Expert - basically this involves dropping down to the next rank of each product you buy, and keeping the ones you find just as good as the more expensive ones or the ones that aren't quite as good but still more than good ... I'm not really a big fan of orange juices, firstly because they are acidic and does not do wonders for teeth if you consume them on a regular basis. Most of the time, I would prefer to have bottled orange juiced because of the convenience compared to need to purchase and prepare oranges that would need to be fresh, although it might be ... It may not come in the prettiest packaging but, as the old saying goes, its whats on the inside that matters! And inside is where this product will impress. It look cheap and nasty but tastes the complete opposite. This orange juice is one of the exceptions to the rule regarding value range foods. The carton looks basic, but when you open it and pure into your glass it tastes as good as of the leading brands within this market. For example Tropicana. As far as price goes I don't think it ... Tesco's value pure orange juice might not have a pretty looking carton but serves the purpose of serving good drink. It is a longlife product and it costs around 56pence for a litre's carton.
