A great idea, but something went wrong (Tesco Value Orange Squash Double Concentrate)

Advantages: Cheap and well packaged.

I've come to the conclusion since trying this new double concentrate version of Tesco's value orange squash that there is such a thing as too much orange flavouring.

For some reason Tesco seem to have gotten this one all wrong for me, which given as I love the Lemon flavoured equivalent is quite a shame. Whereas the lemon flavoured equivalent still tastes lovely, this one tastes as if someone has just crammed more oranges into the bottle than should even be physically possible, shaken a bottle of chemicals into it for fun, and sold it.

Don't get me wrong, the packaging and double concentration is really clever, if and when you remember to make it up with only half the usual amount, but in this particular case I'd rather have the previous stuff.

I'm sorry if that sounds bitter, but this used to be one of my favourites before it went double concentrated and now I find the stuff barely drinkable at best, sure it's orange juice, but I'll spend that bit extra now to get the slightly higher priced orange and pineapple, or whatever the options are!

Summary: Better off spending more for something a little better.
