I drink a lot of squash, it is very cheap to buy most of the time. I had not tried this one before but had seen it on the shelves many times and so thought for the price I would give it a go and if I did not like it, I would not have wasted much money at all.

It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a screw off top. The label on the front is very basic looking in design and nothing special, just the usual colours of the Value range from Tesco. This squash is a bright orange colour and looks quite nice inside the bottle. It looks very refreshing. The bottle is quite a chunky one but it is not very tall. It has grooves along the side of the bottle and so it can easily be held without it slipping from the hands. I find it very easy to pour the liquid from the bottle with no problems.

This is a double strength orange squash and it contains no added sugar, which is good if you are trying to cut down on sugar or on a diet etc. It does however contain sweeteners. This one also contains no artificial colours or flavours. It does tell me on the label on the back of the bottle that it is not suitable for freezing. Some people do freeze drinks. I freeze almost anything I possibly can but this one would not be suitable. I have not ever frozen drinks though but some can be frozen.

It is very easy to use, all that is needed is to shake the bottle first and use 1 part to 9 parts of cold water. I just pour a small amount in a jug and then just add cold water to the amount I require. Using squash is one drink that just requires personal strengths of taste. Some people like it weak and some prefer it much stronger. I personally prefer it a little stronger, so I just use a little more juice if it is too weak when I have added the water.

This one does have a really nice taste to it. It is quite a strong taste for the cheap price and it is a really nice enjoyable drink. My little grandson quite likes this one and he has not complained that he has not liked the taste and with all children, they soon let you know if it is not suitable lol. He has enjoyed the drink. It does tell me on the label that if used for toddlers that a little extra water should be added. When I make up this drink for my grandson, I make it much weaker and it has been perfectly fine to drink. The orange taste is very apparent and it is not a nasty taste at all. For the price I think this one is a really good quality and one that is excellent value for money.

The bottle size is 750ml and so quite a lot of drink for just 29p. The bottle sits well on a surface without falling over. The base is a good size. It also has a really nice orange smell once the top is removed and it is apparent immediately and it is not a sickly smell.

Per 250ml diluted it contains:

2 calories
0.2g of sugar
Trace of fat and saturates and a trace of salt.

So the amount of calories in this amount of drink is really good for a healthy eating plan in my opinion. It is a really nice refreshing drink and very tasty. For a shops own very low brand, this one has an excellent taste and I highly recommend it for others to give it a go. Especially if you have lots of children and are on a budget and wanting to drop a brand. This one is suitable for parties or any occasion in my opinion. It is also a good one if you only occasionally want to drink squash and do not want to waste any which you have not used in time before it is of no use anymore. This one would be ideal also for anyone living alone and only want a smaller bottle and do not drink squash that often and just fancy a drink now and again.

I will buy this one again in the future because it gives me all the taste that I expect from a cheaper brand of orange squash. Just cannot go wrong with this one for just 29p in my opinion.
