Advantages: tastes better than my tap water, cheap

Disadvantages: not as refreshing as sparkling water

Tesco Value offers 2 litre bottle of still water for 9 pence - an unbeatable price but not really a must-buy as I prefer sparkling water.
However, I always have a few bottles at home for my family - the kids prefer it to the sparkling version.

Packing:
The still water comes in the well known blue and white bottle without any fancy design which is fine by me as I want to buy water and not a nice but more expensive bottle.
Packaging and storage information are given on the label as well as an explanation what the 'Value' products are. In my opinion they could have used this space to provide a nutrition box.

Look & Taste
It's water, it looks like water and it tastes like water :-) Unfortunately there is sometimes a slight aftertaste, nothing strong but I cannot really explain what it tastes of. I think this could be due to a long storage time and the translucent packing but anyway, it doesn't disturb me or anyone in our family at all.
For me the still water is not as refreshing as the sparkling water which is offered for the same price from Tesco Value.

Nutrition & Ingredients
Well, water and? Sadly there is no hint on the bottle which mineral nutrition or other trace elements are in the water. This is a bit disappointing as it is an information I would like to have and at least in my opinion an info Tesco should provide.
-------------------------
Price & Value
For 9 pence a bottle (I've also seen it offered for 14 pence before but our Tesco offers it at 9p at least at the moment) you cannot really ask for much. I'm perfectly happy with the water and always have some at home in case friends visit and don't like my sparkling water. It is however not the best on the market as it doesn't contain much mineral nutrients and it has sometimes a slight aftertaste which I don't really mind as it is a lot less than the aftertaste of out tap-water. I'm a bit fussy about water, I know that.

Still, for this price I give it 8/10 and I can definitely recommend it.

Summary: Another good bargain from Tesco!

I am very lucky in that my tap water is delicious even straight from the tap, although I do like a nice bottle of still water here and there.

I think it depends on the region but our tap-water is really not good and even the council advised us on buying tap water. But as I said, that depends in which region you are living in.
