As the pennies have becoming a bit tight with Christmas on the way I have tried my best to cut corners when it comes to my weekly shop. My usual brand of tea bags is the PG tips band but I was looking to try cheaper brands for some of my items when I was in the large Tesco supermarket near my home the other day. I weighed up my options ... Read the complete review

I drink a lot of tea and so I like to buy teabags with a good taste. I have tried cheap supermarket own brand ones before and I thought I couldn't possibly buy any worse than Asda Pricewise ones. I was wrong. Tesco value teabags are very weak and you honestly would never know you were drinking tea unless someone told you so. The ... Read the complete review

Tesco's value tea bags are incredible value for money. The current price is just 28p for 80 tea bags. As they are so cheap I was expecting certain results from these. Firstly, I expected there to be almost no tea in the tea bag. You know, like the chicken in Tesco's own chicken pies, where you require a massive microscope to ... Read the complete review

As we are saving for our wedding in December, this month's shopping budget has been dramatically reduced. One of the items to face the chop is tea bags as we don't really drink it that much. In Tesco this evening we were in the tea and coffee aisle looking for tea bags and I noticed these. Fiance and I said to each other "well if they are ... Read the complete review

Theres nothing i like more than waking up in the morning and having a nice good strong cup of tea. I hate milky tea, i think its disgusting. A good strong hot cup of tea is the best thing to wake me up. I saw Tesco Value Teabags when i was in Tesco picking up a few groceries. It was near the end of the month and i was waiting to get ... There are some things that you just know are going to be a mistake, like deciding to sample these Tesco Value Tea Bags when you really only like strong PG Tips or Tetley. It was doubly silly as I had already tried the Sainsbury's Basics variety and found them to be as appalling as the very low price tag would suggest. At 28p for 80 tea ... Read the complete review

Tea, it has always been not only a routine in my daily but a huge part of my life. From the start of the day till the end. On most days, I can't seem to consume coffee first thing in the morning, which has led me to find the other alternative of drinking tea. In my opinion, tea is such a great drink, it just seems to be perfect for any ... Read the complete review

one day many many years ago an intrepid explorer was walking through a field full of leafy plants. The poor man had been lost in the hills for about 3 weeks and he was hungry and thirsty. All he had left was a tiny cupful of water and the last dribble of campinggaz in his stove (very advanced for their times pre-victorian man). So desperate was ... Read the complete review

When I lived at home I was used to PG Tips and nothing else. I had only ever had anything different from a vending machine or at my girlfriends house. She drank Tesco own brand tea and it always made a nice brew for me, I never had a complaint. Now that we live together, we shop together. We did an online shop at tesco.com recently as ... I am usually a PG Tips girl if I am completely honest, but on my Tesco Brand Mission i figure I would try Tesco Value Tea Bags 23p for 80 who can go wrong. The box is very simple and quite cheap looking (but we will not judge a book by its cover) white with the Tesco logo in the corner and 80 Tea Bags written across the front with a ... I love a good cup of tea first thing in the morning to wake me up. Once I have had one, I can then relax for a bit, or get ready for work, and know that the tea will start working its magic and I'll have my energy levels boosted, and then drink coffee throughout the day to maintain these levels, plus I like the taste. But it has to ... Read the complete review

I am a teaholic!! I am a teaholic!! Okay I admit it. I've said it loud. Now time for the review. I love a nice cup of tea and drink dozens of cups a week. I know others will like coffee and others coffee and tea, but to me nothing is better than having a nice strong cup of tea. I suppose it all started off a youngster. My grandad (who ... Due to the credit crunch (boring) my wife and I have been really careful whilst doing our weekly shop at Tesco. We have in turn tried out many of their value products to save a few pennies here and there. Some products we have been really surprised with others not so much, the most recent we have tried has been their value tea bags, here's what ... Read the complete review

To quote Jane McDonald, "I'd rather have another cup of tea!" Oh how that woman is so right! I could live off endless cups of tea, it's so wonderful. Out of this world! Though to be honest, I am not fussy with what tea bags I use! I did tend to stick to Tetley, but then I thought what was the point in spending money on ... Read the complete review
