Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: not to everyones taste
I've not drunk ordinary tea for about 7 years after reading about the disadvantages of it. Instead I drink Green Tea with Lemon - I find Green Tea on its own is a bit tastless.
Now you could drink Green Tea with a slice of lemon in it or a few drops of lemon juice , but I find that this can be a bit acidic. Tetleys Green Tea with lemon bridges that gap.
Firstly the packaging - these tea bags come in two sorts of packaging - the drum as illustrated which holds 25 tea bags and an ordinary box which holds 50. I have found that the drum pack is easier to find and it is more distinctive with its green lid and yellow label. The tea bags are sealed in the drum with a foil lid - just like a box of pringles! and you can buy them for around about 80p for 25.
Green Tea with Lemon is easy to make - either put the tea bag straight into a mug or if you are feeling sociable then place in a warmed tea pot. Add boiling water and leave to steep for a few minutes. I find if you leave it longer than 2 minutes it can start tasting stewed. The water must be freshly boiled - again water from a thermos doesn;t have quite the same impact!
You can add a slice of lemon to it if you want an even more lemony taste - but I like it the way it comes.
This is one of the fmore refreshing Green Tea's on the market - I speak from experience having tried most of them!!
Give it a try - you may be surprised!
Summary: Lemony tasting Green tea that delivers

- 03/02/09 I enjoy green tea, but for some reason, this particular type always makes me sick. Guess it's the lemon in it. |
