Advantages: Nice Flavour and has Antioxidants

Tetley Green Tea Lemon is my favourite tea. I paid £1.49 for a 50 gram cylindrical box containing 25 bags. It is more expensive than plain black blended black tea bags but there are extra benefits in my opinion.

Green tea is claimed by some to be an aid to weight loss by acting as some kind of appetite suppressant although any hard scientific evidence to support this claim is sketchy at best.

It is scientific fact that it contains antioxidants. These are useful in helping fight the creation of free radicals in the body which can cause other chain reactions that may result in the damage of cells.

As well as having antioxidants this particular tea is very nicely flavoured. It consists of 92% tea and 8% flavouring and lemon peel.

It's brewed in the normal way by adding boiling water and allowing the tea bag to infuse with the water for around a minute. Be careful though as it will be much hotter than tea with added milk so maybe do what I do which is to add a little cold water at the end of the brewing process to prevent burning your mouth with your first sip.

Some people also add some sugar or honey but I like it without.

I also find that drinking this tea hardly stains my teeth whereas traditional tea sometimes does.

Overall: A great tea that tastes nice.

Summary: A Nice Addition To Your Hot Drinks Store Cupboard
