Advantages: Full of antioxidants, not as bitter as other brands

I've recently started drinking green tea in an effort to live more healthily. Green tea is a natural source of antioxidants, is rumoured to have a great many health benefits. It isn't however, caffeine free, unless specifically decaffeinated (1), so it is a healthier way of getting that caffeine hit. It is also calorie free unless you add milk, which I don't recommend.

I've found green tea to be somewhat of an acquired taste, and a great many of the brands I've had lead to very bitter brews that are unpleasant to drink. Not so with Tetley Pure Green Tea.

This brand is clean, fresh and pure. It has a fresh smell in the bag, and when brewed properly leads to a mild, smooth drink that is not at all bitter. Indeed, even when brewed for too long I've found that it still does not become bitter (I have more than once, to my shame, drunk this tea with the teabag in it right until the end).

So, if there are those of you who have tried green tea before but found it too bitter, I suggest you try this brand. It might just surprise you.
