As with everyone I can think of (apart from my mate Nikki) I just love a good old brew. Over the past few years though I have started to drink more and more coffee which I have wanted to stop as it has too much caffeine. Last Friday Scarlet baby and I accompanied my sister to the National Wedding Show in Birminghams NEC where the Home Livings show was also being held. On the way out of the Wedding show we were handed a freebee bag from the home livings show with quite a few goodies inside. One of the goodies was Four bags of Tetley Redbush Tea. I have always been a Tetley Tea drinker and will not change for the world so I thought I would give the ... Read the complete review

Every time summer ends and weather begins to turn cold I turn into an complete tea addict so I start going around the supermarkets and I buy a huge variety: berries, black, decaffeinated, camomile, white teas, fruits teas you name it I have pretty much everything. So you can see I am pretty serious about my teas in the winter, I love drinking a different type everyday many times a day, this way I never get bored. Believe it or not I have never tried Red Brush tea until a few weeks ago. I know it was there in existence all these times but because of such great selection of teas and brands I get confused. So this time I said to myself I better try this but I ... Read the complete review

I gave up drinking regular black tea as my main beverage a year ago, choosing to have a redbush (or Rooibos) tea whenever I would normally have a regular tea. It is safe to say that I have tried a number of redbush tea bags - often depending on the price of them and which ones are on offer. Price ------ I often find that the Tetley redbush tea is cheaper than all of the other redbush brands - which is why I have been drinking more of it lately. Currently at Tesco, the Tetley redbush teabags are £1.69 for 40 teabags or £3.18 for 80 bags. I have, however bought them for less in Tesco before - so a big tip - check all the prices of the redbush ... Read the complete review

I first discovered redbush tea about a year ago and I haven't had regular tea ever since. Love it or hate it, it is different from anything you've ever tasted. It does take some getting used to - in my case the first three cups - but once hooked, you can't go back to your regular beverage as everything else just tastes bitter. Redbush tea is naturally sweet and contains no tannin, which is responsible for the bitter aftertaste of most black teas. If you leave a regular teabag to soak for more than just a few minutes, it turns bitter. This never happens to redbush tea. You can soak it as long as you like and you can even reheat it without compromising ... Read the complete review

I had a free sample of redbush (a different brand) about a year ago, I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. So off I went to the local supermarket, and found that Tetley's was the only sensibly priced option at £1.60 for a pack of 40. For various health reasons, I decided I would try drinking more redbush and less of my usual tea, which is Earl Grey. I find that redbush tastes similar to normal tea, but with a hint of something else - something slightly spicy. Rather obviously, the colour is a little different to normal tea, it has a red hint to it - but it's not bright red. I drink redbush with a splash of milk, the same as in normal tea, ...
