Advantages: Tastes great, 100 per cent tea

Disadvantages: Packs generally not airtight, a bit expensive

I am one of those old-fashioned women that believe there is nothing better than a nice cup of tea, and there are few problems that cannot be solved with one. Making a cup of tea is the first thing I do after coming in from a hard day, and it is the last thing I do at night before going to bed. And the best teabags to use for this constant flow of cups of tea is undoubtedly Tetley.

~~~Packaging~~~
Tetley teabags come in either cardboard boxes or resealable packets. Neither of these methods is great to be honest, as the cardboard boxes are not airtight, and the resealable packets lose their stickiness after a while, so neither of them will actually keep your teabags very fresh. However I always decant them into a tea cannister, so it doesn't really bother me. The bags or boxes are easily recognisable in supermarkets by their blue background and the blue oval in which 'Tetley' is written in large white letters.
~~~What the teabags contain~~~

The ingredients for Tetley teabags is 100 per cent tea, which is great news as it means there are no additives. The packet tells me that Tetley's unique blend has 3 components: 'Assam from India for body and strength, African for the distinctive taste and red colour, and Ceylon for a smooth refreshing finish'. The packet also points out that these teabags are naturally rich in antioxidants which is more good news for your body. Plus, it tells you that tea is fat-free: what more could you want?

~~~How the teabags work~~~
You can either brew the tea in the teapot, or you can make it in the mug like I do. To make it in the mug, just put a teabag in the mug and then pour boiling water over it. Squish it against the side or leave it to stew for a minute, depending how strong you like it, then chuck the teabag in the bin and add milk or sugar if desired.
I have found that one Tetley teabag will make two cups of tea if necessary, but you will need to be quite persistant about squeezing it against the side of the mug with a teaspoon unless you like it quite weak.
~~~How they taste~~~

Tetley teabags have the nicest taste of all the teabags I have tried. They don't have a nasty tang like some or a dodgy aftertaste, they just taste of tea! Whether you have your tea strong or weak, Tetley will make it yummy.

~~~Price and availability~~~
You can buy Tetley teabags from most supermarkets or corner stores. Asda sell a pack of 40 for £0.80, a pack of 80 for £1.78, a pack of 160 for £3.09 or a pack of 240 for £4.08. You can also buy Decaffeinated Tetley teabags or Tetley Instant Tea Granules.
I am very happy to recommend Tetley teabags to everyone. Although they are slightly more expensive than some makes such as supermarket own brands, they are high quality and taste great.
Summary: The best tea around.
