Advantages: Lovely
Disadvantages: None
The one thing I couldn't live without is tea in my life! I get through loads of mugs in a day and it's believe me! Good job it doesn't contain fat or calories or I'd be the size of the house! (I do use skimmed milk in it by the way lol).
The Packaging....
Well because I drink so much of the stuff I have a 160 sized bag of them (about £2.30 in price and in all good supermarkets). No matter what size you buy them in however the packaging is always blue and tells you on the front what they are and that they are naturally rich in antioxidant. The rest of the labelling tells us a bit about the tea and that the only ingredient in the bags is tea, the best before date is stamped on and contact details for Tetley are given. It's nice distinctive and quality packaging which contains enough information on it to know what your about to drink!
A Bit About The Tea According To The Packaging....
Tea is brilliant! Did you no that it has no fat, counts towards your daily fluid intake, is naturally rich in antioxidants and is a natural source of theaine?
Tetley's unique blend has 3 main components:
Assam from India for body and strength.
African for the distinctive taste and 'red' flavour.
Ceylon for a smooth refreshing finish.
The Tea Itself....
Easy to make of course and not rocket science! Shove a bag in a mug/cup or in a teapot or whatever and I always think one bag for person is the best way to get a strong brew.
The bag is white and round and has small perforated holes all over it and a decent amount of dark brown tea tea encased within in. It takes about a couple of minutes to brew and of course it's up to you whether to add milk, sugar or whatever to it.
Personally I add milk to it as I mentioned earlier and I end up with a lovely light brown rich looking tea. It smells nice and to my nostrils has a little bit of a sweet smell to it, though it doesn't taste sweet.
The tea is fresh tasting, excellent quality and rich in flavour and just really great and refreshing! It leaves no aftertaste, scum in the mug/cup and is simple to make and drink.
One of the best quality tea bags on the market in my opinion!
Summary: A great tasting tea!

- 23/07/09 Not something I would normally try as I usually use loose tea, but this review makes it sound great! I've never tried Tetley, as far as I remember. |
