Advantages: Taste great

Disadvantages: None

After a hard day at work, theres nothing better than a good old-fashioned cup of tea to unwind and for me theres nothing better than a cup of Tetley tea.

~The Product~
Tetley is one of the most popular brands of teabags available on the market at present and for me is also the most flavoursome. The teabags are round and measure approximately 2.5" in diameter. The flavour is really strong and tasty and only needs leaving in your cup for a couple of minutes to guarantee you a lovely cup of tea. When you first add this teabag to the water you can immediately see the tea start flowing into the water, which with lesser brands you don't tend to see as the tea itself is a much weaker flavour. Each Teabag is at least half-full of tea to make a good strong cuppa.

Should you need further information on these teabags you can contact Tetley on 0800 387227 or on their website www.tetley.co.uk.

~Price/Packaging~
Tetley teabags are available in a few different size bags as listed below.
40 Teabags (125g) - £1.15
80 Teabags (250g) - £1.91
160 Teabags (500g) - £3.00
240 Teabags (750g) - £4.61
Each pack of teabags is packaged the same, no matter how many you purchase in a pack. Each packet is a distinctive royal blue colour, bearing the white Tetley logo with a re-sealable 'sticky tape' top to keep the bags fresh. The packs have been changed to this style quite recently as it maximises freshness and are also more compact to store than boxes of teabags.

~Results~
I tend to buy whichever teabags are on offer at the time at present as my main concern at the moment is cost savings. However if possible I always go for Tetley as in my opinion I don't think the flavour can be beaten. My Nan always drinks Tetley purely because she says it reminds her of 'a good old fashioned cup of tea' as she believes that the cheaper branded teabags of today make tea taste too watery and you lose a lot of the flavour. I agree too. Not only does it taste great but you can really smell the tea too when you open the pack and also when serving.

What I love about these are the ingredients stated on the packet - just 100% pure tea. Nothing else added to it, just pure tea. Lovely!! Even when milk is added you still have a nice beige-coloured cuppa which for me proves how flavoursome the tea is, as recently I admit I did try a set of Value teabags which left me with almost a 'milky-water coloured tea and thats exactly what it tasted like too.

~Summary~
Give me Tetley anyday. A well known, well trusted brand of tea which looks appealing, tastes great and smells delicious too. You really can't go wrong with Tetley and although they are not the cheapest brand of tea on the market, they are not too badly priced either. Love them!!

Summary: Can't be beaten!!
