Advantages: Delicious, no metallic taste like other leading brands

Tetley Tea bags are by far the most superior brand of tea available from a supermarket. Each bag is round, has the Tetley emblem imprinted upon it and is fragrant with the scent of good quality tea leaves from an Assam, African and Ceylon blend. Tetley Tea has no fat, counts towards your 2 litre recommended daily intake of water and is rich in natural antioxidants.

Assam - from India for strength and body
African - for the distinctive taste and red colouring
Ceylon - for a smooth and refreshing taste

The bags come in a resealable keep fresh pack, in quantities of 40, 80, 160, 240 and 360. You will pay around £1 (or 89p as it suggests in the image?) for a pack of 80, although, quite often in supermarkets they have offers on for buy 80 get 40 free, etc.

You can be guaranteed a perfect cuppa with a company who has been making tea forever! Simply add a tea bag to boiling water, leave to brew until at the right strength for your taste (strong for me!) and add milk and sugar as desired. I like mine white no sugar if anyone's making?

Tea does contain 'tanins' I believe they are called, and too many of these can stain your teeth - simple to me, give your teeth a brush after a cup, that way you benefit from a brew but also have nice white gnashers!

My favourite tip is to make a jug full of black tea, let it cool for a couple of hours (covered), and then add the juice of one lemon to each tea bag used and then chill in the fridge, add to ice for the perfect summer iced tea drink - much cheaper than lipton-ice and no unnatural flavours or sweeteners.

Tetley also comes in other varieties, such as one cup (one bag per cup!), drawstring (perfect for catering events), redbush (as hydrating as water) and extra strong (perfect for people like me who like a good strong cuppa).
