This Water is made from fruit and clouds!!

Whenever I am in Starbucks and fancy something different than coffee (which is not often to be honest), I reach for their range of soft drinks called This Water. This Water are a range of drinks which blend pure squeezed juices and pure spring water to create some really tasty refreshing drinks.

They are actually part of the same company as the Innocent Smoothies. I absolutely love Innocent Smoothies who blend just fruit together and make a thicker drink as they do not contain water. The bottles that the drinks are sold in look very similar too so you can tell that they are from the same company. According to their website in 2003 innocent launched a range of drinks called Juicy Water but because they were focusing so much on their smoothies they never really took of until that is a few of the employees got together and put a new brand together called This Water and launched them in May 2007.

Apparently sales have doubled since the launch and they are planning more flavours. At the moment five flavours are available, mangoes and passion fruits, pomegranates and blackcurrants, lemons and limes, cranberries and raspberries and passionfruits and peaches. I have tried them all, they are all lovely combinations and very juicy and sweet.

My favourite flavour is the lemons and limes. With all the drinks you can definitely tell that there is water in the recipe as they are not thick like smoothies but quite thin although definitely more flavourful than flavoured waters that you can buy. They are blended with proper fruit and I think you can really tell that the drink is authentic.

They contain no additives, no fruit extracts and are not made from concentrate. You can buy the bottles in 420ml bottle sizes and per 100ml there are 145 calories so a bit on the heavy side for calories but still very refreshing and a drink I recommend.
