Thule Beer

Thule is a brand of Viking beer, (Iceland's most famous brewery). The Icelandic people love drinking, you can often see them tottering down the street, they seem to have a fair amount of alcoholism but no good beers - how depressing! When I was up there I spent most of the time (in Rekjavik and Akureyri at least) drinking Polish beer, there's quite the contingency of workers up there and it seems they weren't prepared to live on the local muck. Thule claims to be an ale but it's in fact a lager, it has quite an aggressive taste to it which may have something to do with the name!
