Advantages: Unique taste
Disadvantages: addictive!
Mmm, can you smell the soft aroma of coffee mixed with alcohol? Not too strong but strong enough to tickle those taste buds? The seductive taste and smell of Tia Maria is made from a secret Jamaican recipe which includes cane spirit, coffee and vanilla. Drink it as it is for a warming but subtle taste experience, or mix it with Cola. Try this with vodka and coke for a Black Russian, or vodka and cream for a White Russian. (Both are exceptionally good.) Can't sleep? Take your Tia Maria in coffee and feel the hot coffee take the alcohol gently to your head! There is something unique about Tia Maria that other coffee flavoured liquers can't quite match. It won an award in the International Wines and Spirits Guide for 2000 and is set to win again in 2001. This is the perfect liquer if you want to spoil yourself. The taste is really different and describing it as 'coffee' flavoured doesn't really do it justice. Try it and see what you think.
