When I first saw Tia Maria I thought to myself, "I bet that tastes like sh!te" and I immediately dismissed it and bought my 1 litre bottle of Baileys.
Of course like most things unknown to man I became intrieged and was curious as to what taste lied behind the name.

So after eventually having some I quite liked the coffee taste in a certain respect. It took me back to the days of when I used to make Irish coffee with Baileys or Carolans (2 weeks ago or something). I could never imagine it tasting nice with Cola and Ice of course because that would just be too weird. Coffee and Cola on the rocks, nope just unimaginable.

So along comes my curiousity again and I've got a Tia Maria with Cola in front of me.
I of course took my time seeing as I couldn't imagine it to taste that nice. When I sipped it I did find it to be suprisingly nice and so I finished ordered another one and then didn't have another the whole night.
Every now and then I do have Tia Maria by itself or with Cola. You shouldn't be fooled because it's a coffee drink, it does taste suprisingly nice.
