Sweet sexy drink is how I describe this liquer. It's very subtle taste of cofee, mixed with a subtle sweetness makes this drink easy to get friendly with all night!
As you pour it into a glass, you can see it's smooth consistency will just glide down your throat in one fast swoop (if you wish!), it tastes great with coke (other known brands of cola are available!), or if you fancy being a bit more adventurous, then try mixing it with Baileys and amaretto, it tastes fantasic, if not a little potent!
Talking of potent, it's not really the kind of drink that will get you drunk quickly (unlike vodka!), but once it kicks in, you will find you are drunk all of a sudden, without even realising!
Tia Maria, in my own personal opinion, is great on a Sunday afternoon, after you've eaten your roast, and feeling a bit bloated. It makes you feel 'comfortable'. For anyone that has tried this, you know what I mean, don't you. Comfortable meaning a warmness that tickles your toes gently!!

- 16/05/01 Mmmmmm - this is my favourite tipple aswell, Tia Maria and diet coke lovely! Mind you, since having my daughter I haven't really had chance to drink any recently. Must remedy that - the only problem is with Tia Maria is that it is quite expensive to drink in a pub isn't it! Good op:-)Xyanthe |
