... including contact details (see the end of this review). The beer is brewed in Singapore, Asia and has been since 1932 and is imported in the UK for our drinking pleasure. When I was first introduced to the Asian beer I didn't have high hopes as many beers I have tasted from Japan and China have been a little disappointing in the past however this changed dramatically after the first sip. The beer should be cooled to 4 - 6 degrees C before consuming, so basically chilled in your fridge. The beer itself is amber in ...more

Premium Review Tiger Beer: A beer for tigers and cats (163 words)
by - written on 13/04/08 (Useful, 121 readings)
Rating:

Tiger beer is brewed in 6 countries and sold in 80. They claim to produce it using only first class malt, hops and yeast and they also check 10 different kinds of water each day to find out which one is more suitable for the beer. I like their logo, I normally buy it in bottles, they have the label written in a nice kind of blue which goes back with the gold of the beer. It is a very refreshing kind of beer. I drink it mainly in summer. I buy it from my local spirit and beer agent round the corner for a bit more than one Pound. They are partners of both the Arsenal football club and Barcelona. Premium Review This Tiger is a bit of a kitten! (349 words)

Tiger beer is a fairly popular beer in South East Asia brewed in Singapore and weighs in at a tough 5% vol. This is always available in Tescos for around £1.70 for the large 680ml bottles. The logo is very colourful; an orange, blue and gold design making it very eye catching. Of course the golden tiger sits right in the middle under a palm tree. It's a kind of funky and unique design. So, the smell on opening is fairly underwhelming. It's hard to detect anything other than a grassy smell, slightly skunky, slightly corny. Totally unoffensive. On pouring there is only minimal amounts of head that takes only a few seconds to ...  Read the complete review

With the opening of a new supermarket that is within walking distance of my house have been opened up to new range of beers that the local Spar lacked on with one of these beers being Tiger Lager Beer. The beer comes in brown bottles containing 330ml of the lovely stuff at alc. 4.8% vol. The bottle cost me £1.15 but it can also been purchased in larger multipacks which will bring the price down considerably. The labelling is very attractive and clearly states all the important details relating to the product including contact details (see the end of this review). Premium Review The Best Beer in the World (523 words)

Tiger beer is the true Asian beer. The Tiger demands respect in Asia and throughout the world. Asia Pacific Breweries in Singapore, which is a joint venture between Frasers & Neave and Heineken NV, brew it (No wonder I like the taste). Tiger beer is the predominant brand of the company and was first brewed way back in 1932. Tiger beer is immensely popular throughout Asia and especially South East Asia. My first experience with Tiger Beer was surprisingly in Sierra Leone (West Africa). The reason why I ended up drinking Tiger beer there was because we had exported a 20ft. container load directly from Singapore to Sierra Leone of ABC Stout, ...  Read the complete review

If any of you out there are Pink Floyd Fans you'll probably no the phrase 'When The Tigers Broke Free', me being a Floyd fan i like that song and i like this god damn beer. I first came across Tiger in FHM's Top 100 Lager/Beers, it was as i recall the number one of the beers and lagers. After seeing this chart of bevvies i thought i must try this Tiger. Details about Tiger: Its from Singapore, where its extremely expensive for a pint, its a beautiful lager, its a strong lager (5% vol) and it comes in a variety of bottles of cans. It was voted by FHM best beer in the world beating Bud (the so called King Of Beers), beating Stella Artois ...  Read the complete review
