If any of you out there are Pink Floyd Fans you'll probably no the phrase 'When The Tigers Broke Free', me being a Floyd fan i like that song and i like this god damn beer. I first came across Tiger in FHM's Top 100 Lager/Beers, it was as i recall the number one of the beers and lagers. After seeing this chart of bevvies i thought i must try this Tiger.

Details about Tiger:

Its from Singapore, where its extremely expensive for a pint, its a beautiful lager, its a strong lager (5% vol) and it comes in a variety of bottles of cans. It was voted by FHM best beer in the world beating Bud (the so called King Of Beers), beating Stella Artois (reasuringly expensive) and basically kncoking everything else over the fence, don't mess with a tiger. It has also won many gold medals in many different Brewary awards and many other awards basically making the most renowned lager beer in the world that has won more titles in the past few years than Man Utd. I have only ever seen the bottles, standard 330ml, and huge 640ml bottles, i haven't seen the cans but i know you can get them, check out there website www.tigerbeer.com, great site for a great beer. Its one of those beers that you know you've paid good prices for a great beer, its not all malty and hopsy shall i say, its smooth, its tastey, its crisp, its refreshing and its every god damn thing a beer should be plain and simple.

Me and my experiences with Tigers:

Now Tigers are big scarey animals that i can imagine don't mix with people unless tamed, and i bet its takes a lot of patience to tame a Tiger, well not these ones, from the moment you take it off the shelf its your best friend, it will do as you say, what you say, and by christ it won't harm a fly, but it will harm your perception. I first came across this delightful lager/beer in ASDA, they had a great deal where you got 4 big bottles around 550ml - 660ml bottles of most stuff for £5, some ales,
some lager you know a nice little mixture of everything for every taste, there it was Tiger 4 big bottles for £5 me and my friends couldn't refuse, we were all a little young shall i say at the time except for one of us and anyways, we got some Tigers to try, we got some other beer, we got some whiskey and by christ did we have a good time. This turned to be a bad experience i turned up to be unconcious during the night and arose to find myself sprawled on the sofa with a strange feeling of forgetfullness :D.

Since then i have never seen Tiger in the shops since, but one faithful day i decided to go to asda to get some booze for my friday nioght with the lads and there she was, same offer same bottles, YES, i remember being filled with a amazing, glowing, warm, fuzzy feeling and i nearly broke down into tears in ASDA, my greatest friend was back from a lengthy holiday and i had missed him :). Ever since this offer was disovered again i have been buying tiger every week since, along with some other beers as im finding my self becoming a beer enthusiast, almost like the Jeremy Clarkson of Beers, along with my best mate who is also a suckers for Asda'a great beer offer we have came up with the idea of Top Beer, its Top Gear but with beers, this is waht a lot of tiger and shall i say some smoking materials did to me and my mate. Ill not explain as its alot of nonsense.

Nowadays Asda also do 4 packs of small Tiger just wee little Tiger cubs, 3 * 4 packs for £10, which isn't abd, 12 bottles of the greatest lager in the world for £10 is great, but you get more if you but 8 big bottles for £10, but drinking 8 large bottles is quite a large amount, something me and my mate are going to do this friday (30th May 03), ill report back and let you know how it went :). Another great deal ive heard about is that theres a pub in Middlesborough, not to mention names, but you get a Tiger and a curry for £4, a big Tiger aswell, which if this is true
which i need to investigate then this is the rgeatest deal man has ever enctountered!

In conclusion looking at how much i personally love Tiger and how much every one i have known who has tried it loves it i can say that its amazing, my grandad even loves it and he drinks stuff like Teltey's and Trophy Bitter YUCK.

For my closing words to put it simpley 'They'rrrrreeeee Grrrreeeaaat' (Tony the TIGER, from Frosties). Now i bet Tony The Tiger drinks Tiger because for me its the Only One.

Thank you, get down to you local asda and get urself 4 big bottles and enjoy it cold, and yes order a curry, because this is the ultimate Curry Lager, get a nice Chicken Tikka Madras, some Pilau rice, or whatever tickles ur fancy, garlic naan and some tigers, and you'll have the greatest meal and drink ever :D.
