Advantages: Refreshing and thirst quenching
Disadvantages: Not as good as it used to be
Tizer Drink
Description: Manufacturer: A.G Barr / Type: Soft Drink
When I was a kid, I used to drink Tizer from time to time. I remember it being in clear plastic 2 liter bottles and it was a bright red colour. The taste was fruity and refreshing, and quite unlike other fizzy drinks on the market.
So, when I noticed that this was on sale in the supermarket, I bought it immediately. I paid £1.98 for a 6 pack of 330ml tins.
When I got home, I put this in the fridge for a while and then poured it into a glass. The first thing that I noticed was that it was a much lighter colour than it used to be. It was a pink colour instead of the red that it used to be. When I tasted it, it didn't taste the same either. It is hard to describe but seemed to be less vibrant in both colour and taste than I remember.
It was still quite nice, just not as nice as I had hoped it would be. I probably would buy it again but wouldn't neccessarily select it over other drinks, as it didn't taste particularly special. 3 stars from me, simply because it used to be better.
