Advantages: Lovely and pure
Disadvantages: None at all providing you like grapefruit!
In my house we're mad on breakfast products. We all believe in breakfast so have a selection of stuff and this pitched up in my house so I thought I'd review it for you!
The Packaging....
Cardboard long oblong white box with a yellow screw/on off lid situated at the top of the carton. On the front of the carton I'm told it is indeed Tropicana, Pure Premium. Under that in yellow writing I'm told it is Golden Grapefruit, 100% pure squeezed golden grapefruit that's not from concentrate. Then there is a picture of a cut open grapefruit and on the bottom of that the size is stated (1 litre), and a quick nutritional at a glance chart. Then on one side of the carton I'm told some facts about the product, nutritional information in full, and a guide to how this helps us with our daily nutritional amount requirements, and told how to store it and contact details for Tropicana. On the other side of the box I'm given some information on Tropicana's environment beliefs and on the back told a bit more about the product and information on a couple of products I may like if I like this one.
About The Product....
Tropicana Pure Premium gives us the delicious, zingy taste of 100% pure squeezed golden grapefruit juice. They don't use water or sugar. It's pure and therefore natural.
Just 150ml of this equals one of your 5 a daily portions of fruit and vegetables as recommended by health and medical professionals.
A 200ml glass contains 50% of a full day's supply of Vitamin C
It's naturally Sodium and Fat Free
What can I say about this product? Well it is as advertised. Grapefruit juice and pure as squeezing it yourself without any mess. There is only one ingredient listed on the carton and it is grapefruit, nothing more than that, no additives, preservatives or sugar. It is what it says it is after all. Pale yellow in colour with a small amount grapefruit segments within it. They are not juicy that you can squish on your tongue and the only way I know they are in this is cos when I've drank it I can see some bits stuck to my glass! It isn't a really thick juice it's thin and cloudy but you can tell it is natural.
Taste wise it's lovely. Not too sharp but tart and refreshing. It has a natural sweetness and it's unmistakable in flavour. I like the way this isn't overly harsh. Some I've had in the past have been too thick and far too sour for me and this really is just naturally nice and wakes you up of a morning and gives you a kick start.
I like it on it's own to quench thirst first thing but in the day I like a low calorie lemonade with a dash of this in and some ice and I call it my sunshine drink and it's very refreshing!
I'm a real fan of this and will endeavour to try the rest of the drinks in the range!

Should always be stored in the fridge. Shake it well before use and use within 5 days of opening it. It does stay fresh providing you do the lid up tightly and store it correctly!
Ours came from Sainsbury's at £1.68 a carton but can be found in all good supermarkets and in Sainsbury's at the moment the deal is any 2 cartons for £2.50! Recommended must buy for anyone who wants to give themselves a really healthy start to the day and apparently juice helps to to keep hunger at bay!
Summary: A lovely addition to a healthy breakfast and to top up your vitamin c!
