Pure Premium Original Orange Juice

We always choose Tropicana orange juice from the supermarket and personally normally choose there Pure Premium Original Orange Juice with Juicy Bits or as the Americans say with pulp.

It is 100% pure squeezed orange juice (not from concentrate) unlike so many others with what I feel are very misleading labelling with there pictures of fresh oranges etc and when you look at the small print they are from concentrate and taste just like diluted orange squash.

Supplied in a recyclable cardboard carton with a small plastic cap that sealing in flavour but making it very easy to pour and reseal. We normally buy the larger carton of 1.75 litres as it is better value, but they do come in smaller sizes.

Give the carton a good shake especially with the juicy bits version as it does settle out and the mixes it up again. Incidentally we noticed that when we were in Florida recently they sell there orange juice as, No Pulp, Some Pulp, and Extra Pulp (obviously very particular about there orange juice).

The juice has excellent fresh orange taste, reasonably sweet but also a little tangy giving a really refreshing flavour that is great first thing in the morning to wake you up and get you going, that said my wife and I drink it several times a day and go through a few large cartons a week between us.

It really is a great healthy drink and something that we don't often not have in the fridge, apparently 150ml of Tropicana Pure Premium provides one of your 5 daily portions of fruit and vegetables, which is a handy way of getting kids to eat a balanced diet and for adults it goes great with Vodka but I think this may take away some of its benefits, still every now and then wont hurt, surely.

Tropicana also state on there packaging which I already mentioned is recyclable that where possible they try to use materials from renewable sources, and although I would not have chosen the product based only on this fact it is good to know you are being somewhat responsible to the environment in your choices.

As a very popular and large brand you will find Tropicana in nearly all the main supermarkets and for around £2 for the large cartons it is resonable value for money and can often be bought cheaper when you but more that one.
