Disadvantages: The price!

I can't remember a time when I haven't loved orange juice. It's a perfect thirst quencher, especially when you want something with a little more flavour than water.

Having loved it for so long I've come to be a big fan of Tropicana. I tend to opt for the smooth, no bits, 100% freshly squeezed version, with the biggest bottle I can fit into the fridge as it's usually drunk by the gallon and gone within a day or two! I love the fact that this juice isn't made from concentrate, and doesn't have any added sugar and is just pure orange juice.

Many time I've had to buy different brands, due to the Tropicana shelf being empty, or another brand having a slightly better price, but I always come back to this one. It has a lovely flavour, and just tastes like pure Orange juice... how it should do! The no bits version is very smooth and refreshing, and is far too drinkable really - a quick sip usually turns into half the bottle!

It's also incredibly healthy for you, and just one glass will provide the majority of your days RDA of Vitamin C, and one of your 5 a day fruit portions, and as there's only orange juice in the carton you don't have to worry about avoiding any nasties!

You need to store it in the fridge, due to it being a fresh product, it's advised to finish it within 5 days of opening the carton (but that shouldn't be a problem!) and if you do opt for the version with bits, it's always better to give it a shake first.

Compared to supermarket's own brands, Tropicana works out a little more expensive. But I'd say it was well worth the extra money, purely for the quality of this juice. There's also many offers on with Tropicana products such as 2 for 1, or 25% off, which is very handy if you're a regular drinking and always helps if you have room in the fridge to stock up. You should be able to buy a 1L carton for around £1.70, and a 1.75L for around £2, depending on where you shop.

If you haven't already tried Tropicana, go and get a carton now! It's absolutely delicious, and is fantastically healthy for you!
