Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice

Tropicana is apparently America's number one selling orange juice. It comes in 1 and 1.7 liter cartons and also small bottles available (one serving). Expect to pay around £1.80 a 1 liter carton. This juice is available from almost all supermarkets. You will easily recognise it by the white carton with the name written in green lettering and the pictures of fresh oranges on the front.

You can get this orange juice in "smooth" or "with bits", now for me, there is no question, it has to be with bits! It is good that you have the choice though, so you can get the one you prefer, it is easy to differentiate between them as they have different coloured caps (blue and green) as well as clear marking to explain which is which.

As it sounds like, this is pure juice, so there is nothing in it except oranges. One portion offers almost all of your daily vitamin C intake and also counts towards your 5 a day (1 portion) fruit and vegetable recommendation.

The juice is delicious, it is just the right balance between sweet and tart which makes it refreshing at breakfast time, or indeed any time of the day. It is a good consistency, and not too thin like some orange juices can be. It is best served chilled and should be kept in the fridge.

You are likely to be able to pick up cheaper brands than Tropicana as most supermarkets do their own. I have tried most of them and while some are pretty good, I haven't found anything that I like as much as this one so will continue to buy it. It can often be found on offer too, so is worth stocking up on when you get the chance.

I also really recommend that you try the other juices in the Tropicana range, especially the tropical variety which is my absolute favourite! These juices may cost more than supermarkets but are worth the extra so treat yourself and get the good stuff!
