Orange juice is definitely an essential item in most households and mine is not an exception, so when I choose to buy orange juice I want a juice which tastes good but is also cheap to cope with the amount bought per week.

----POSITIVES----

I think Tropicana is probably one of the best supermarket orange juices because the texture is very smooth and is a joy to drink. As it is not from concentrate it tastes fresher and as if it has been spent time on being made and not some rushed "get it out as quick and cheaply as possible" approach. I think the name as well, "Tropicana" entices more consumers as it has a very holiday-like feel to it and makes me think every morning of sitting out in a early morning sunrise over a beach in Portugal sipping on this wonderful orange juice... its as if it is worth waking up for in the morning compared to one of the cheap tesco value orange juice which tastes as if it has so much added water to make quantity and not quality.

----NEGATIVES----

The major negative has to be the price, when you are buying orange juice to be used everyday of the week you know it is going to amass to a lot of money over the course of a year. the latest prices i have found is £3.48 for 2litres from Tesco online service, This is a substantial price to pay as we could get through about 2 or 3 of these every week between three people. You can already tell that that is about £10 a week, and £520 a year spent on orange juice!

----CONCLUSION----

The best orange juice in my opinion is tropicana orange juice, but the problem is it is not practical for daily use so we have decided to buy cheap Tesco value orange juice for Monday to Thursday and have Tropicana from Friday till Sunday....Why? because you then only need 1 tropicana 2Litre carton per week and from shop you can find 2 for 1 deals and other reduced prices so all in all you spend about half as much.
